Rocks from Space Picture of the Day - February 11, 2010
Greg Hupe' joins Richard Kowalski on top of Mt. Lemmon February 9, 2010.
The above photo is of the first of three NEOs discovered that has Greg listed
as co-discoverer. Greg is seen pointing to the newly discovered NEO on the
screen. Greg and Richard were using the Catalina Sky Survey's 60" (1.5 meter) telescope, the
same one that was used to discover 2008 TC3.
This is possibly the first ever NEO discovered by any meteorite hunter.
